“I tell law students... if you are going to be a lawyer and just practice your profession, you have a skill.
But if you want to be a true professional, you will do something outside of yourself...something that makes life a little better for people less fortunate than you”
-Ruth Bader Ginsburg
Volunteer
The Justice Bus relies on volunteers to support outreach, education, and legal services within communities. We are looking for:
Community Engagement Volunteers
Support workshops, outreach events, and on-site coordination when the bus is operating in the community. This may include assisting with setup, helping participants navigate services, and distributing materials.
Legal & Professional Volunteers
Attorneys, law students, and legal professionals can contribute through pro bono clinics, consultations, and referral support. Volunteers in this area help connect individuals with the legal guidance they need.
Operational Support
Assist with communications, event coordination, and administrative tasks that help sustain the initiative’s day-to-day operations.
Donate
Community funding makes it possible for the Justice Bus to operate directly within underserved areas. Donations support:
-
Mobile operations, including transportation and maintenance
-
Civic education workshops and outreach efforts
-
Pro bono legal clinics and service delivery
Every contribution helps increase access to legal resources and supports continued engagement within the communities we serve.
